I will start with my youngest granddaughter Katie. We were caring for our grandchildren for a period of time when their mom and dad were having some difficulties. The older children were in school and the youngest Katie was out side with my husband. Katie was a curious 2 1/2 year old at the time and asked her poppy what he was doing.
I'm making a driveway,he said.
But you don't have any car Katie said.

No, he replied, and as the two stood in the unmade driveway with their shovels, he pondered on how to answer her.
You see we were standing in faith that God would provide us a car so he was preparing the driveway.
Well poppy said, if you were to pray and ask God for a car for poppy I'm sure I'll get one.
In a split second, Katie dropped her shovel and closed her eye's
This was her prayer that day
Dear Dod, please give poppy a twuck, and make it a red twuck cause my daddy has a red twuck and i like red.
That was the first time she had ever done anything like that.
From that day on over the years as we have taken care of our now 7 grandchildren, they would all pray, Please God give poppy a red van that we can all fit in and go to church and McDonald's and oh give nanny a big new house so we can always come here.
That was 4 years ago. They still pray were ever they end up at the end of the day and they always remember the Poppy's red van and Nanny's big house.
We have not yet received such blessings, but we have received the miracle of little grandchildren knowing how to pray and continuing to pray no matter what they may have going on in their day.
We believe their innocence and unselfishness will one day produce that red van and big house our precious grandchildren pray to God for.
I hope this will bless you heart!
